Amarin Thai

This Thai restaurant on Castro street in Mt.View has uniformly good Thai food. Most of the curries are well made. The service is prompt and the decor is stylish with the standard Thai dolls and mirrors.

P.F.Changs (Chinese)

Upscale chinese food. The eggplant and chicken are great. Their drinks are also nice.
Waits can get very long. Its one of those places that hand out buzzers to waiting folks.
Try the lettuce wrap and the spring rolls for appetizers.

Locations in Sunnyvale(Matilda and El Camino), Palo Alto(Stanford mall).

Saravana Bhavan (Indian)

This South Indian place is minimalist in design. The food is spectacular. Specialities include the sambar vada and the kotthu paratha. Rava dosa is another favorite. For a large meal, try the thali.
They are moving to a larger place at Fremont and Mary soon.

Expect a healthy wait during the evenings and weekends.
